What You Need to Know
We founded The Chocolate Chicken Home Goods with one principle in mind - providing an incredible shopping experience for our customers. We work hard to provide exceptional customer service and pride ourselves on never straying from our founding principles.

What is print-on-demand?
Print-on-demand (or POD) is an order fulfillment method where items are designed by The Chocolate Chicken and are printed as soon as an order is made. The product is then shipped directly from the manufacturer to the buyer on behalf of the The Chocolate Chicken.

The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies. For details, see individual items.
Estimated shipping times
Canada: 1-3 weeks
North America: 1-2 weeks
Europe: 3-5 weeks
I'll do my best to meet these shipping estimates, but cannot guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose.
Customs and import taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
Returns & exchanges
I don't accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations as we are a Print on Demand service. No refunds are given on any of these products UNLESS there is an error with printing on our part.
We are not responsible for incorrect names, dates or sizes provided by the buyer.
If we do grant a return, the buyer is responsible for the return shipping.
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Frequently asked questions
Return shipment - address errors
Once your item has shipped you will receive an email with a tracking number for your purchase.
We are NOT responsible for wrong addresses that are provided to us. Please make sure to check your address and update it as needed. Our labels print what is provided by the customer.
If customer provides an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to my printers facility. Which will be liable for reshipment costs, paid by the customer.
Once we have confirmed an updated address with you, and postage is paid, I can have it re-mailed to you.
We are also not responsible if you do not pick up your international order due to VAT fees. Items returned to us will not be refunded.
Custom and personalized orders
All orders will be personalized exactly the way you request. We are NOT responsible if what you have provided is not correct. At this time we do not do refunds for custom orders or POD (print on demand) as we are unable to resell them.

Cancellation or Changes to Your Order(s)
All items in our shop are POD (print on demand) Products. Orders can only be canceled or changed within ONE (1) hour of ordering.
No refunds are given on any of these products unless there is an error with printing on our part. We are not responsible for incorrect names, dates or sizes provided by the buyer.
If we do grant a return, the buyer is responsible for the return shipping.
If you are unhappy with your purchase for some reason, please contact us We will be happy to work with you.
Printing Errors-Damage-Wrong Order
Some times unfortunately things get sent with errors. If for any reason your order
1. Has Printing errors
2. You have received a item that isn’t yours
3. Damaged item, I have insurance for that.
Please message me to let me know.
1. You will need to send me a few photos showing the damage.
Then I am able to send out a new order for you.
Our mission is to ensure our customers, are safe. My Printers are taking the necessary steps to encourage social distancing and are also prioritizing high sanitary standards.
We understand that this pandemic brings new challenges. We have experienced great times with production only lasting 7-10.
However, in areas hardest hit USPS shipping can be delayed 7-14 business days later than the normal 5-7 days

Shipping may be delayed in parts of Europe as many governments have suspended air-travel.
From time to time a package might go missing.
-If a package is not received & the tracking shows it is in transit with no updates. It might be lost in transit. I am insured for this & a new package will be mailed out. If a package is listed on its tracking as delivered, but you have not received it there are three possibilities..
1. The tracking update was one step ahead & it will turn up in a day or so.
2. You were out so its at the local post office waiting to be collected.
3. It was delivered on your door step & someone stole it.
The best thing to do is call your local office, give them the tracking & they will give you more info. If it has been stolen, then it goes off the shippers insurance & you have to file a claim with them.
